Third place at the basel open

I finished 3rd at the Basel Open after a challenging and intense few days of competition. On Saturday, I started strong with a 7–5, 6–2 win, despite being down 2–5 and 0–30 in the first set. Coming back from that deficit gave me a lot of confidence moving forward.

The second day was a true test of endurance. In the morning, I battled through a tough 2.5-hour match, winning 6–2, 3–6, 6–4. Later that afternoon, I stayed sharp and won again, this time 6–1, 6–3.

On Monday, I faced a tough opponent in a 2-hour match and unfortunately lost 1–6, 4–6. In the second set, I was very close to turning things around, but my energy and strength weren’t quite enough to clinch it.

Overall, it was an exhausting but rewarding tournament, and I’m proud to have secured third place at the Basel Open.
