Runner up at Njcaa nationals in doubles

This May, I finished as the runner-up in Doubles Flight 2 at the NJCAA Nationals in Sumter, South Carolina, the biggest tournament of the season.

After working hard all year and looking forward to this event, I was excited to compete against some of the best players in the country. In the quarterfinals, we played a strong match and won 6–2, 6–1. In the semifinals, we continued our run with a 7–6 (7–0), 6–2 victory to reach the final.

In the championship match, we gave our best effort but unfortunately lost 2–6, 1–6, finishing the tournament in 2nd place.

Although we fell just short of the title, I am proud of our performance and grateful for the opportunity to compete at the highest level of NJCAA tennis. Reaching the final was a rewarding way to cap off a year of hard work and dedication.
